Photo ID systems are a very fast and cost effective way of creating ID badges. A complete ID badging system consists of a printer, software, and digital camera. It may also include scanners (driver's license, barcode, magnetic stripe, or passport), handheld devices, and additional capture devices for signatures, fingerprints, or other biometrics. The software allows for the storage of a person's information and images. These systems permit the user to customize the database fields to meet their needs and will also allow the user to design their own secure ID badges.
