Film-Based Camera Problems
| Problem | Reason | Solution |

| Black photo | Shutter speed too fast; not enough light captured; shutter is not firing because it is sticking or broken; bad capacitor. | Move switch from B/W to color, or adjust exposure setting. Send in for repair.* |
| Black data (all-photo) | Shutter is not firing because it is sticking or broken; bad capacitor. | Send in for repair.* |
| White photo/streaks | Film is not feeding through rollers. Could be broken rollers or exposed film. | Replace rollers. |

- New camera users: make sure nothing is covering lens (i.e., lens cap, instruction book, etc.)
- Make sure all four photos are taken before film is pulled
- Do not remove film when cleaning rollers or film will appear white
- If you put film back into camera w/cleaned rollers, close door, pull that film out & discard. The rest of the film pack is usable.
