The Primacy offers the following built-in and optional features:

- LED panel or LCD screen with QR code display for operating assistance
- USB and Ethernet interface standard
- Optional magnetic stripe encoder, smart contact station, and contactless smart card encoder
- On-site scalability, add encoding module or even lamination
- Ribbon cassettes for one-step installation or EASY4PRO without cassette for users keen to reduce their environmental impact
- A specialty ribbon option with a double layer of overlay for double protection that does not require a lamination module
